Custom Session
Set the parameters below — the selected activity opens in fullscreen.
Protocol A complete 20-minute training session: 5 min theta induction · 5 min sensory impregnation · 10 min active learning. Use headphones for the binaural beat induction.
Impregnation pitch ?The single target note learned this session. During impregnation (stage 2), only this note plays repeatedly. During active learning (stage 3), it appears mixed with acquired notes and OOB intruders.Select one note at a time.
Pitches for active test ?Notes already learned (used during active learning + evaluation test). The impregnation pitch is automatically included.Recommended order: F → E → F♯ → D♯ → G → D → G♯ → C♯ → A → C → A♯ → B.
Instrument ?Multi-select supported. Random picks a timbre per trial — real absolute pitch must survive any timbre.
Octaves ?Available octaves depend on instruments. Random instrument expands the range.Start narrow.
Theta induction ?Stage 1 duration. 400 Hz left + 405 Hz right binaural beat → brainstem generates 5 Hz theta wave. Use headphones, dim lights, eyes closed.5 min recommended.
5:00
Impregnation ?Stage 2 duration. The target note plays repeatedly with its color square. Anchor it deeply.5 min recommended.
5:00
Active learning ?Stage 3 duration. Masking → flash note → response. Asymmetric feedback: silent if correct, color shock if wrong.10 min recommended.
10:00
Response window ?Time allowed to answer in active learning and evaluation test. Tight window forces recognition over comparison.
1500 ms
Note play duration ?How long each note rings. 500 ms = flash (default for active + test). Longer values during impregnation.Active stage caps at 500 ms regardless.
500 ms
Masking ?Between-phase masking. Random notes + an optional Shepard drone wipe pitch memory between stages.

How to use: Click and drag on the wheel to play tones. The angle determines the note (chromatic) and the ring determines the octave — each ring is a discrete octave (A1, A2, A3, A4). Hover without clicking to preview the color and note. Enable Tone hold to keep the sound playing after release. Enable Snap to note to lock onto the 12 in-tune frequencies only.
