TOTOR MUSIC INSTITUTE · TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 August 2026

These terms cover the Perfect Pitch Terminal and Relative Pitch apps, on the web and on mobile.

By creating an account or using our apps you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

The service is operated by Totor Music Institute ("we", "us"). Contact: totormusicinstitute@gmail.com · www.totormusicinstitute.com.

2. What we provide

We provide ear-training software:

Both are educational training tools. We make no promise that any particular result — including acquiring absolute pitch — will be achieved. Progress depends on your own practice.

3. Accounts

4. Free tier, plans and prices

ProductFree tierPaid
Relative Pitch Identification exercise with four intervals (unison, major 3rd, perfect 5th, octave). No chords. One-off €7.99 for lifetime access. No recurring charge.
Perfect Pitch Terminal Discovery tier: 2 notes and the first 2 challenge levels. One-off Lifetime access payment. No recurring charge.

Both products are one-off purchases. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and you will never be charged again for a product you have bought.

Prices are shown at checkout in your currency and may include VAT or sales tax depending on where you live. We may change prices for future buyers; a purchase you have already made is unaffected.

"Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the product. See section 9 on availability.

5. Payments and who you are buying from

Purchases made on our website are sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the purchase itself, alongside these terms which govern your use of the software.

Purchases made inside the Android app are processed by Google Play under Google's terms, and are managed from your Google Play account. We never see or store your card details, wherever you buy.

6. One-off purchases — nothing to cancel

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used fraudulently.

8. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps for your own training, for as long as your plan is active. All software, design, text and instrument samples remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid product entirely, we will give reasonable notice and, where fair, a pro-rata refund.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why. To delete your account, see Account deletion.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes affecting your rights, give clearer notice. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
